Recovery

Tell us about "recovery." Submission deadline: October 1, 2026. Send your prose submissions in a single Word or PDF document. 

We prefer these be no more than 2,500 words, although longer work may be considered. 

Reviews of any subject should include the subject author's name(s), bio, and the title of the work, genre, author image, book image, in addition to the body of the review, which should be no more than 1,000 words. We're anti-AI for the creative process. We recognize that AI permeates our culture. We prefer to publish authentic works and ask that you please disclose any use of Artificial Intelligence in your work and in which ways AI may have contributed to your work. If your work is found to be AI assisted and not disclosed, your work will not be published. 

Submission Deadline 

For this Fall / Winter issue, please submit your work by October 1, 2026. Work submitted after this date will be considered for the Spring / Summer issue, or a later issue if such can be arranged. We strive to respond to all submissions regarding our decision to accept, but if you hear only silence from us please send us an email asking what's up. voicesdelaluna22@gmail.com

Rights

Yanaguana will notify you if your submission is accepted. If we publish your work we ask that you give us first North American Serial Rights and electronic media rights to your work, and we ask that Yanaguana be acknowledged if the work is subsequently published in book former reprinted in another venue. All rights revert back to author after publication.

Artists whose work is accepted will be celebrated throughYanaguana's social media, but there will be no further remuneration, unless negotiated separately. We are delighted and honored if you also tag Yanaguana in your social media posts upon publication.
