Yanaguana Submissions General Guidelines

Yanaguana encourages submissions in poetry, visual art work, essay/memoir/creative nonfiction, and reviews and interviews. We make room as we are able for fiction prose works; query the Yanaguana editors to see if your fiction piece might find a place here.

Yanaguana is published in electronic format twice a year: Fall/Winter and Spring/Summer. Work we accept for Yanaguana is typically published in the next available issue. Please be aware of the submission deadlines for each issue.

If we accept your work we will request electronic rights. Rights will return to the author after publication.

Please also let us know if you are submitting your work elsewhere.
